Julong News (Correspondent: Zhang Zhanhui, Chen Jian) At 2:00 p.m. on July 24, a foreign cargo vessel named Winner successfully berthed in Shen Chiwan Wharf in Dongguan.

      Loaded with 10000.911 tons of RBD palm olein, the vessel started the 2000n mile journey from the BELAWAN Port in Indonesia and berthed in Shen Chiwan Wharf after nearly 10 days of shipping, including successfully escaping from the attack of super typhoon Wimason.

     Since it was the very first foreign vessel for Julong South China in its unloading history, relevant leaders had paid much attention beforehand by thorough arrangement for berthing, cargo inspection and discharging and communicating with administrative departments including Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, customs, Bureau of Maritime Affairs, Sea Affair Bureau, frontier inspection station and pilot station

      On the milestone day for Julong’s logistics, general manager of Julong South China Lei Wenzhong appeared on the wharf apron along with a team of relevant executives. Relevant departments including Logistics Department, Import & Export Department, Quality Control Department and Purchase Department all witnessed this moment and did their part well as arranged in the unloading scheme.

     What’s worth mentioning is Winner was also the very first foreign cargo vessel that Dongguan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau dealt with. After three-hour strict health quarantine and cargo sampling and inspection, at 8:00 p.m. that day, the Quality Control Department was formally informed of the good news that the key indices such as acid value and peroxide value were all in accordance with the national standards.

     The successful berthing and unloading of foreign vessel this time marks the launching of plant business in South China Special Zone of Julong Group. The coordination and collaboration among departments was tested and practiced in the unloading mission and would become much better with valuable experience gained this time. With the beginning of the plant business in Julong South China, Julong Group has formed a strategic business layout with North China Reform Practice Area, East China Region and South China Special Zone in mainland China, whose distinctiveness and collaboration will promote the group’s transformation and greater development.
