Julong News (Report: Yan Wenting, Correspondent: Zhou Xin) On March 16 and 17, China’s Ambassador to ASEAN Yang Xiuping paid a special trip to Julong Group’s first plantation in Indonesia to inspect and study its implementation of “going out” strategy. Vice president of Julong’s Indonesian subsidiary Li Guozheng and other executives attended the meeting.
Li Guozheng introduced the technological process and current process capability of the CPO mill in the plantation. In 2011, the CPO mill was formally operated and the first batch of crude palm oil (CPO) was squeezed out. So far, the capability of the crushing plant has reached 90 tons per hour. 70% of the CPO output is sold to local oil pressing factories and the remaining 30% is sent back home for refining.
Amazed by Julong's overseas achievements both in oil palm plantation development and in benefiting locals, Ambassador Yang expressed that the Mission of China to ASEAN would serve as bridge of communication and linkage of cooperation to help the company eliminate the problems and difficulties encountered in overseas agricultural investment. She also hoped Julong Group would become bigger and stronger by giving full play to its overseas advantages.
