Julong News (Correspondent: Feng Xiaoya) Recently, the sixth Commendation Conference of Spreader of Science and Technology was jointly held by Tianjijn Association of Science and Technology and Tianjin Municipal Committee for the Wellbeing of the Youth in Tianjin Great Hall. Lei Wenzhong, general manager of industry of Julong Group, won the award of “Spreader of Science and Technology” by virtue of his outstanding contributions on palm oil R&D and S&T communication.

     Lei Wenzhong, now general manager of industry of Julong Group, has been adhering to innovation and perseverance on technical challenges since he joined Julong Group. He participated in exploring new products and process, and managed to develop RBD Palm Oil which was authenticated by Chinese Cereals and Oils Association, filling the domestic market vacancy of grains and oils industry. Moreover, he actively organized S&T innovation activities, and was engaged in S&T communication activities by various methods such as scientific reports and lectures, etc.

     The activity aimed to stimulate all the S&T workers actively participating in S&T communication, leading to a more powerful team of S&T spreaders. As required, Tianjin was selected 101 Spreaders of Science and Technology.
