Julong news (Correspondent: Zheng Yan) Deputy minister of United Front Work Department and executive vice chairman of All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Quan Zhezhu paid a visit to Tianjin from November 4 to 5. During his stay in Tianjin, he investigated Julong Group and held a meeting with the group’s leaders.

     At the meeting, chairman Yang Xuejiang gave an account of our group’s undertaking of “going abroad” and phase achievement of cultural construction. He introduced that Julong Group is now the largest palm oil private enterprise with a whole industrial chain in China, and also the chairman unit of Tianjin Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia. The overseas undertaking of Julong in Southeast Asia is into a mature period. Now in Indonesia we own land available for oil palm planting with a total area of 130,000 hectares, of which we have cultivated 50,000 hectares, with a predicted increase to 80,000 hectares by the end of this year. In China, we have developed research-centered business in North China and logistics-centered business in East China. Besides, we are preparing to build a brand-centered industry base in South China, as well as an administrative body in Shanghai whose main function is to establish information and talents platforms.

     After listening to chairman Yang’ introduction, Quan Zhezhu emphasized that an excellent enterprise is tied to an excellent leadership, an excellent machanism, an excellent management, excellent products and excellent employees. Corporate culture should reflect the enterprise’s characters, and is easy to be put into practice. The urgent priority of the international operation is building an international operating team. Meanwhile, he expressed his hope that the enterprise should take advantage of the modern biotechnology to continue to extend the palm oil biologic chain, value chain and industrial chain, and improve the products’ added value through cooperation and R & D.
